CREATIVE DIRECTION
BRAND IDENTITY
2026

Developed the brand identity and creative direction for KEMILA, an emerging DJ artist. I shaped the visual world of the brand from the ground up, directing and styling the photoshoot, developing the visual identity, and creating a cohesive creative direction designed to introduce KEMILA as an artist.
PROJECT
DESCRIPTION
BUILDING THE VISUAL WORLD
BEHIND A NEW ARTIST.
The process started with conversation, not design. Through a series of meetings, I dug into KEMILA’s favorite DJs, the music she was drawn to and how she wanted to be perceived as an artist. Peggy Gou became an early reference point, but the goal was never to recreate someone else’s aesthetic. I used those influences to understand her taste and begin defining a direction that felt like KEMILA.
01 / GET TO KNOW THE ARTIST

As the direction developed, I wanted to find something that could make the identity unmistakably hers. A red dragon tattoo on her back became that starting point. I pulled the dragon out of something personal and translated it into a graphic element for the brand, creating a visual signature that connected directly
back to the artist rather than relying on
expected DJ imagery.
02 / MAKE IT PERSONAL

Once the identity had a foundation, every part of the shoot became an extension of it. I selected and styled her looks, built and styled each scene, directed her positioning and movement, and shaped the overall mood of the imagery. The result became the starting visual language for KEMILA as she stepped into her professional DJ career.
